Two modes, one toolkit

Switch between Paint and WorldGen at any time. Use them together to handcraft details and generate entire landscapes.

Paint Mode

A 2D canvas view of your live game world. Click to place blocks, drag to paint terrain, and watch it appear in game instantly. Think of it as a map editor connected to a running server.

A visual node editor for designing world generation. Wire up noise generators, terrain shapers, and biome selectors to build procedural worlds, then push them to your server with one click.

How it works

HyPaint connects to your Hytale server through a mod. Everything happens live.

Install the mod

Drop the HyPaint plugin into your Hytale server mods folder.

Link your account

Run /hypaint link in game and enter the code on the web app.

Start a session

Run /hypaint start and the web app syncs your world chunks automatically.

Edit live

Paint blocks, sculpt terrain, or design worldgen. Changes show up on your server immediately.

Everything you need to build worlds

Live sync

Every block you place shows up in game instantly. Auto sync keeps your canvas current as the world changes around you.

Configurable brush

Adjust brush size, shape, and height filters. Paint at specific Y levels or across the full column.

Full block palette

Browse every block type in the game organized by category. Search, filter, and build multi block palettes.

3D shapes

Spheres, cylinders, pyramids, cubes, and walls. Solid or hollow with adjustable dimensions and orientation.

Terrain sculpting

Raise, lower, flatten, and smooth terrain with a brush. Shape mountains and carve valleys.

Fluid tools

Place water and lava, or drain entire lakes and rivers. The flood drain follows fluid through every connected block.

Player teleport

Click anywhere on the canvas to teleport your player there. Navigate the world straight from the map.

Node based worldgen

Visual graph editor for world generation. Connect nodes to build terrain pipelines and biome systems.

Deploy and export

Export worldgen configs to JSON or push them straight to your server. Import existing configs to edit visually.
